¿Question #225468?
freechinanow: How long can I keep up writing s’s af f’s like they ufed to in the dayf of old?
Woelf: WTS are you talking about?
pricero1: It wasn't all esses, and was mainly just terminal ones. It's called the long s and can easily be distinguished from an f in the same hand, but on it's own it can be somewhat confusing. (I've read hundreds of parish registers and old wills.)
