Woelf: Every time I go into the kitchen at night to make my lunch (often a sandwich) for the following day, our cat comes running into the room even if he'd been sleeping soundly elsewhere in the house. He looks up at me and meows at me like he's expecting food, because one time ten+ years ago I went into the kitchen and gave him something from a treat bag, which he promptly puked up. No one, as far as I know, has ever given him anything else from inside the fridge or on top of it (where we keep bread).
