RealGuest: Oof, that would be rough. I might manage a little better than most, but that sounds tough.
TomTi89: You know what? This is the sort of thing that wouldn't even surprise me anymore. Last month when I opened the curtains and the sky was yellow, I was like "oh yep, that's fine, whatever". Get out of bed and fall over because of increased gravity? Sure, why not. Better get myself to work like any other day...
D00MSTALKER: The amazing D00MSTALKER would cope quite well as this would just make everyone appear weaker.
Woelf: If it abruptly became that much stronger, a lot of people would have very bad days. My knees are already not happy frequently; this would make it a lot worse. If it had always been like that, life would have adapted for that, with (likely) smaller body sizes and increased musculature. Differences in gravity and how human bodies adapt to it is a major issue in the Expanse series, and is a factor in almost everything that happens.
