¿Question #225537?
PolarDad: Daughter #2 felt bad for a kid at her college who couldn't go home for Easter and who had no car. Rather than leave her stranded on an empty campus, she is bringing her to our house to spend the weekend with us. When was the last time you had a house guest you did not know personally?

Woelf: It's been several years, but our kids occasionally had friends over that I didn't really know.
TomTi89: We had some work done on the kitchen, so we've had plenty of people we don't know in the house. I don't think we've ever had someone else stay the night, though. It's a small place and we're not particularly sociable and don't have children, so it would be some unusual circumstances if someone stayed here.
USP45: Invited a friend of a cousin once sight unseen who had nowhere else to be for Thanksgiving
imyourskribe: That’s so sweet :)
D00MSTALKER: Would a bird nesting in the rafters count?
