¿Question #225581?
Woelf: What's the longest you've waited for a computer game (or other program, if you're boring) to load? Does your answer change if limited to only the past 10 or 20 years?

0Shea0: I tried to play a dos game from back in the day that i remember being amazing back in the day....what I didn't realize was how much waiting in between screens I used to do! 2 hours of gaming and like 8 things happened.
freechinanow: Ha! I had my C64 plugged in last about 4 years ago, and I remember Jumpman taking about 5 minutes or so to load from cassette.
pwilz: I remember Zaxxon on cassette on the Atari 400 took like 40 minutes. That was in 1985 or so.
Gilgermesh: I used to own a C64 with a cassette drive, so the answer changes by several hours if we limit to the last 20 years.
