¿Question #225606?
PolarDad: What is the oldest game you've played in the last year? And what year did it come out?

sparkous: No need to search as I played chess.
pricero1: Backgammon, which is about 5,000 years old.
mr3d: Probably chess and tick tack toe... No idea on the year they came out.
kswingruber: If you ignore all the updates, it would be D&D (1974), but if not, then original Wiz War (1985).
RavingLoon: I flick marbles around on the regular, so -3000 as BGG's estimate. As far as modern games go, MtG I think (1993).
Woelf: I'd played a couple hands of Blackjack with my daughter because she wanted to learn how to play it. BGG shows 1700 as the year, which is presumably an estimate for something that was around even longer.
mattomaw: Cribbage or gin rummy. No idea when they were invented. Modern board games? Flix (1994).
