¿Question #226131?
pricero1: What does it mean to be the native of a particular country?

MABBY: Normally it means that the government came and took your land from you, in the 1600-1800s, and then forced you to go to a parcel of land somewhere with others "of your kind".
RealGuest: Usually, it means that, through no choice of your own, you were born there
Woelf: You've lived there long enough to say you live there.
TomTi89: Depending on context, it could mean someone living there, someone who was born there and is still living there, or a descendant of such a person. Either way, it tends to me mean "us, as opposed to them people from abroad".
BOBBYCAN: Pretty much nothing.
