¿Question #226463?
PolarDad: If you ever began to write a novel or just had an idea for a novel, what is a one sentence summary of the plot?

Woelf: "Like Twilight, but good."
purplewurple: I mostly have ideas for roleplaying game settings. Usually it's something like "Cyberpunk, but everybody is a vampire", or "Jane Austen, but everybody is a demon", &c.
mattomaw: Cat gets lost and has adventures.
pricero1: Birth to death with stuff in between.
PolarDad: I have four that I started writing but never finished. 35 years ago I began working on a science fiction novel about a kid that accidentally got recruited into a secret military force battling aliens (a rip off blending of Green Lantern, Iron Man, and The Last Starfighter). 20 years ago I wrote the first half of a mystery short story written in the first person about a guy that was being forced to commit multiple murders against his will. About the same time, I barely began working on a dark novel about a large group of kids that suddenly developed super powers that led to a Lord of the Flies type of situation. Also from the time of my life, I have another science fiction novel about an individual in an alien world that sets out to discover his species' heritage and develop his own identity separate from forced traditions. I haven't written anything on any of the four in 16 years and I doubt I will ever finish any of them.
