Grimsalt: You're visiting the loo at someone's place you hardly know. While peeing standing up, do you aim at the water at the risk of splashing droplets, or aim at the porcelain slope at the risk of misfiring?

Grimsalt: Good point, but my options were limited : the guy's wife is immunosuppressed + it's the pandemic + there were cat hairs on the seat and I'm allergic! Maybe I'll try the halfway crouch next time... frontal or backward, that's a whole other question.

Woelf: Every toilet is a little bit different, so you have pick your target carefully and adjust your aim as needed. Also clean up any mess if you make one.

RealGuest: I usually try to slope it in, but that can splash too. Sitting is the safest way to go.
