¿Question #226642?
RealGuest: When did you last get a warning and what was it for?

pricero1: I got shown a red card yesterday, making me fully chastened.
mattomaw: It was few years ago now and it requires a short story. I used to work for a monumental mason. There were two bosses, one being a German woman. She is an amazing stone cutter. Probably the best in Ireland at the moment. She is young, dynamic, talented and beautiful. Now, I have no problem at all with working under her and all that stuff because her skill is unbelievable, but she is in a very male dominated world that is full of sexism and crap like that. It is hard for her because she has to be three times as good as any man to even be considered on the same level. Alot of blokes cannot handle being bettered by a woman. You can imagine the kind of thing. Working on building sites and all that. Anyway, we were working on building site at UCC (Cork university), restoring the old stone buildings. She was half way up the scaffold and I was on the ground. We were having a loud chat to each other. It was a beautiful day. Really sunny. At some point she shouts down " Whheeww! What a day! I am really warm!". I shout back " The problem is Anna (false name), not that you are really warm, but you are TOO FUCKING HOT!". She glares at me, scurries down the scaffold and gives me a huge dressing down. "Don't ever say something like that to me here! I know it is a joke, but if others see you saying something like that, then they are all going to start! NEVER AGAIN! DO YOU HEAR!". Now that was a warning and telling off! Fair enough. I thought it was an excellent off the cuff joke ( and it was!), but like a typically stupid bloke, I had not thought of any consequences for her.
BOBBYCAN: Okay, don't put the petal all the way to the metal! Part way to the metal will do!
