¿Question #226909?
0Shea0: I got an electric lawn mower this year, it is so quiet and it does my yard nicely. How long until dewalt makes an electric car that runs off of their tool batteries? This needs to happen.

MABBY: My yard is just large enough that I need two batteries on full charge to complete it. I like everything else about the battery mower except the long charge times afterwards.
mr3d: As soon as we jump on the train of things electric, with its quiet, non polluting, instant power, high torque,... goodness, we will not want to go back to noisy polluting inefficient gas. But, there are sadly too many people in power benefitting from gas who will make it really difficult...
0Shea0: I got the electric dewalt weedeater 2 years ago. It is freekin nice. So quiet. turns off when you walk around. On at the touch of a button. With the 20v 5ah battery it will do my whole property. The lawn mower came with two 10ah batteries that also fit the weed eater. With those I could probably weedeat for 24 hours straight.
Woelf: When we first moved into our house, I bought an electric weed eater. It worked great for the first 15 minutes, until the charge ran out. Took it back and got a proper gas one.
