¿Question #226917?
0Shea0: Do you let your cat outside? Can I persuade you to stop? Did you know that in the United States alone, cats kill an average of over 2 billion birds and 12 billion mammals each year? (just another way we are destroying the planet yay!)

mr3d: Categorically not.
RavingLoon: Every cat I've had has been for the purpose of killing animals, specifically rats and mice.
oriecat: Nope, they are indoor only. It is much safer and healthier for them and the natural world.
TheGrimReeple: I have never allowed any of my cats out. While this is primarily out of concern for native wildlife, it also protects Pchina from my cat-hating neighbour.
mattomaw: Er.. yeah. That is kind of what cats do. Ours is more of a rodent murderer. She spends all night out. Some of the day. She sleeps on the sofa from 9am to 4pm.
Woelf: Nope, ours is an indoor-only kitty. He's never been allowed out either, so he doesn't beg to get out or try to sneak out when a door gets left open.
