pricero1: The internet is useless if you don't know what to look for or you don't understand what you find.
Chris%20Page: While there's no need to drill long division or memorize lists of dates and capitols, it is useful to know stuff without even needing to know that you need to look it up. Recognizing that 63 factors into 7 and 9. Or recognizing a comparison to Japanese interment camps means the policy is a Bad Idea.
Phil%20Fleischmann: Yes. However, thanks to the internet in our pockets, we don't have to teach porn in secondary schools.
kswingruber: Math is ALWAYS good to study. Social Studies has always been an exercise in BS and re-writing history. Teach that which teaches how to think critically, leave the brainwashing and propaganda out.
