imyourskribe: A friend has apparently been doing four day (32 hour) work weeks since last fall. Would you do that for 80% pay?

pwilz: I'd do it for 60% pay, but I'm in a situation where money isn't the main reason to keep working.
purplewurple: In the Netherlands, almost 50% of the working population works part-time (12 to 32 hours).
pricero1: I'd say that was pretty attractive (and after tax you'd have more than 80% of normal).
Woelf: I certainly wouldn't mind a shorter week, but not for less pay. Unless that 80% was more than what I'm currently making.
