¿Question #227188?
PolarDad: True Story-I don't have any more space for games on the shelves I built in my dining room so I began stacking the larger ones (Xia, Roads and Boats, Ark Nova, and Lacerda stuff) on top of the hutch. The stack has gotten so large that I need to get on tip toe to place the last box. I knew this was a bad idea. Yesterday, the inevitable happened...a game box slipped from my grasp, hit me in the forehead and than crashed into the dining room table. Two corners of the box lid busted open and it's numerous components went everywhere. If this had happened to you, would you be more upset about the corners of the box lid being ripped open or having to pick up and reorganize the components?

mr3d: Hope you are ok! As for the question, it really depends on what game it was. If it were something like the game of life or monopoly I would not be crying too much for the box being damaged...
Woelf: By far the box damage. Hopefully it can be patched up. Clear packaging tape on the inside usually works okay. I haven't resorted to stacking games above easy reach height, but there is currently a stack of several next to my desk that don't have room on the shelf currently. One of these days I need to do some massive reorganizing of the shelves to make better use of the space.

magikaru: The components will only take ten minutes to put away, but that box is damaged forever
Blinko: Not happened to me, but the box condition is important to me. Any reasonable gamer would launch their body and catch said game before it ever touches anything.
