Woelf: In a typical day at work, what percentage of things you do are "new", as opposed to things that are repeated and/or copied from things you or someone else has done previously?

TomTi89: Working with surgical instruments, most are the same as usual. Sometimes we get new things - either brand new, or new to us, because someone wants to try them. Sometimes things get repackaged for different purposes. We might have a new person soon-ish.
mr3d: A lot of the things I do are new, based on copy pasting "building blocks".
PolarDad: Same as it ever was... same as it ever was...
pricero1: Even in a research environment, only a small percentage of what is done is new.
