PolarDad: Knowing that Ferris Bueller's Day Off was the best movie in the 1980s, what was the second best?

freechinanow: I'm a huge '80s movie devotee. But they all have their flaws, made even more prominent sheerly by their age. But if I had to point to a movie that is near-technically flawless, I'd have to say Aliens. But I love so many- it's like trying to choose your favourite child.

Jedadeana: Sorry, The Princess Bride was way better than Ferris Bueller's Day Off. There are probably many others too, but I'd need to see a list. I probably haven't seen a lot of 80's movies (since I wasn't even alive for most of that). When was Indiana Jones? And Total Recall?
