TheGrimReeple: I already did, more than a year ago, before it existed. Either the plague lockdowns really messed with my perception of time, or it was a Kickstarter.

Woelf: Maybe when the latest big thing that directly replaces it comes out, and the price is severely marked down. Or maybe not at all.

TomTi89: You know what? I've dropped out of all that. Even as a gamer, I don't hurry to get new consoles or anything. All of my phones over the last 7 or more years have been second-hand from my wife (who does like newer phones), and I've stopped buying board games too. I do tend to focus a lot on very specific, cheaper products though, until I have managed to buy or try it, like a new type of coffee at my favourite chain (wasn't worth it), or VR gaming (was worth it, definitely, but not to the extent of getting it for our small home, where we'd trip over and bump into everything).
