¿Question #227939?
PolarDad: I know nothing about Squirrel Girl. What can you tell me?

ThroughTheDeckGlass: What Woelf said plus, TUSG is positive and optimistic! TUSG is a reasonable techy, so the readers get Comp sci bits. TUSG is a reasonably shaped, not falling out of her costume, female super who is an excellent role model for girls. Can't recommend her highly enough.
Woelf: She's the best Marvel character that hasn't already appeared in the MCU (there was a near-miss, with a show that didn't get past the pilot stage). She has the proportional powers of a squirrel and proportional powers of a girl. She's defeated most of the big-name villains (Dr.Doom, Thanos, Galactus, etc.) plus countless others, but does it just as often with empathy and wits than by directly beating them up. Tons of great humor too. See if your local library system has the 2015 run by Ryan North available - it's worth checking out. (Skip the Great Lakes Avengers stuff. It's technically the same character, but isn't worth reading, and nothing important is missed.)
