PolarDad: What in your home doesn't have a remote control but you wish did?

ThroughTheDeckGlass: The kitchen.
Statalyzer: The air conditioning system. I'd love to be able to start getting it going 10-15 minutes before getting home.
purplewurple: Stephanie has everything Alexafied, but the bedroom lights are these cute little strands of starry lights, that unfortunately have different pattern settings, and the default is the sample platter which includes rapid blinking and fading to darkness. If you want constant light, you have to reach around the bed and press the button 7 times.
TheGrimReeple: It would be nice if that smoke alarm that keeps going off had a remote with a "shut the hell up, there's no damn fire" button, instead of needing to be poked with a stick.
