¿Question #228468?
RealGuest: Have you learned to stop worrying and love fruits and vegetables?
TheGrimReeple: I learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Which movie did you watch?
PolarDad: Yes?
Jedadeana: "Fun fact" - Although hedgehogs can eat fruits and vegetables, you shouldn't feed any to them because they lack a cecum, which is the part of the digestive track that breaks those down, so hedgehogs gain no nutritional benefit (and instead are much more likely to get an upset stomach and diarrhea). "Gut loading" insects (feeding insects fruits and vegetables before feeding the bugs to the hedgehog) helps to break down those nutrients in ways that hedgehogs can use
Woelf: They're loved or loathed on a case-by-case basis. None are good enough to give a blanket pass for the rest.
