¿Question #228496?
RealGuest: What is the ideal ceiling height?
Derang3d: At least 2,5m, preferably 3m.
Jedadeana: I'm around 5'2"....so anything 6' and up is fine for me! (Seriously, I've worked in old colonial houses, etc, with very low ceilings, doesn't bother me)
Woelf: For a house, as high as you can afford. 8 feet is the absolute minimum, but is always going to feel cramped, especially if it's a living space and not a hallway or bedroom.
PolarDad: 8 foot for installation and maintenance, 9-10 foot looks more spacious though
BOBBYCAN: I like to be able to reach the light bulbs without a ladder.
imyourskribe: This is so weird. I was just thinking about ceiling height a couple minutes ago. The ideal ceiling height is a ceiling height that doesn’t require you to cut the drywall
mattomaw: Above head height.
