¿Question #228515?
pwilz: Should I really be that concerned about spelling and grammar? Like how I always say not when I mean no and how I always skip words?
Derang3d: Depends. As long as your "There"'s and "You're"s are good, you're more competent than half of all Americans as far as I care.
PolarDad: Not in informal settings such as GQ
TheGrimReeple: The most important thing is clear communication. Mutually agreed upon standards of spelling and grammar are there to facilitate that communication. Following them helps, but is less important. Not following them may lead to confusing the reader, or to peddantic readers getting distracted and going off-topic with corrections.
Karlsen: Yes
pricero1: You can't spell colour either.
