¿Question #228529?
Derang3d: If the Red Wavy Lines of Incorrect Spelling would stop working, how sharp would the number of spelling mistakes you make increase?

TomTi89: I very rarely use any software which does that. When typing on my phone, it will suggest the correct spelling, but there are no red lines.
BOBBYCAN: So sharp I'd bleed to bloody death.
Woelf: Not much. It's usually a little slow on the uptake and doesn't add the line until it's too late, or it gets grumpy about words that aren't actually misspelled. Autocorrect is a different (foul) beast altogether, that has a habit of changing things it shouldn't while missing things it should.
pricero1: I never use "check spelling as you type".
PolarDad: Slightly but not dramatically. Most of the ones I catch are due to a couple keys on my laptop that don't function well.
