PolarDad: Heading out to visit a 96 year old member of my church that is nearing the end of his life. What is the age of the oldest person you know personally?

mattomaw: My father, who is 91.
Woelf: Mid-'80s, at least currently. My grandpa was the oldest I'd known; he was 96 or 97 when he died several years ago.
