Woelf: Basically a meal kit that combines with ground beef (or other meats). Some are very good.
PolarDad: It is what I grew up on.
Jedadeana: It's stuff like noodles and flavoring that you're supposed to toss into a pan with cooked and drained ground beef to make a meal. Thus, "helping" make a meal from hamburger
Chris%20Page: Hamburger Helper is (aside from a few sad noodles) a package of dry chemicals that makes anything taste the same as similarly-treated hamburger. Including the packaging.
