PolarDad: Windows blinds...vertical or horizontal?

TheGrimReeple: Securely mounted. I'm lucky I didn't lose an eye. I did lose a chunk of eyebrow, but you'd barely notice it since the shingles gave me a bunch more scars around there.
Derang3d: Horizontal makes them close up completely from the street, vertical... well I don't know why you'd use them vertical. Did have those when I grew up tho.
TomTi89: Prefer curtains. We have one set of blinds, but it's a one complete thing, like a curtain, which rolls up and down. Out of the two you mentioned, maybe horizontal?
