Derang3d: My neighbours from across the street put a note in my (and I assume others') mailbox, saying that they have a party tonight so the music might be louder than normal. Given that I can normally hear their bouncing bass anyway, how worried should I be?

mattomaw: Extremely worried. But you have to give them some credit for telling everyone, rather than them just thinking "F everyone", which most people who play banging music all the time are kind of doing anyway. I have had nightmare situations for years with banging duff-duff neighbours. So loud it can be heard 6 miles away. If it is going to make you well up with hatred and anger, I advise going out and staying with a friend.
