¿Question #229444?
Derang3d: Which (if any) chat/communication programs did you (used to) use? How have they shaped your vocabulary?

Jedadeana: AIM (learned the new lingo like LOL, BRB, AFK), IMVU (not sure, but probably a fair amount), and Skype (didn't use much, mostly used when I was doing a study abroad to talk to my folks, and then after for a few interviews), Discord (probably learned more "online lingo"), Zoom (used maybe twice, both for interviews)

mattomaw: (8÷1.6) Nothing at allll (8✓3.75)
Woelf: I used ICQ a lot back in its early days. I tried signing back into it again a year or two ago just to see if it still worked, but wouldn't even accept the ID number because it didn't have enough digits. Not that I have any clue what the password would have been anymore.
Derang3d: Used MSN back when that was a thing. Still do an above average amount of //, ** and _ _. Also (8)[...](8) when I'm singing ^^.
BOBBYCAN: Everything I know about chatting I learneded at GQ.
PolarDad: Mostly Google Meets and Gmail for work, Duo and texting with my kids, Facebook Messenger with friends and strangers wanting to buy/sell board games. I'm sure it has had effects but I can't think of any right now.
pricero1: Zoom - and it's not.
