Derang3d: Are you more likely to overwater your plants, or not water them enough?

oriecat: I feel like I am overwatering them, but then they also look dried out sometimes! I think maybe they are getting the wrong sun. It's so hard to get them right! I'm trying so hard right now, I want to be a plant person!! I've killed two recently and I feel so bad about it.
Derang3d: I've had to remind myself to check the pots for standing water - I'm apparently quite likely to drown my in-house plants :/. Sorry, plants :(.
Jedadeana: Probably not enough, which is why I have succulents (only need water a couple times a month) and grow vegetables and herbs in a hydroponic unit (level indicator lets me know at a glance if it's time to refill, and I add new nutrients once a month)
