¿Question #229597?
PolarDad: Have you ever lost love for a life long hobby? It just seemed to turn more into a chore?

freechinanow: Don’t say parenting. Don’t say parenting. Don’t say parenting. Don’t say parenting.
imyourskribe: Dibs on your board games
RealGuest: I've had hobbies for years that I loved (love) that have faded away: shooting sports and model airplanes, for example. But, I don't think I've lost the love for them. It's just not the right time I guess. Boardgaming has pretty much been a constant. Computer gaming almost took over, but mostly for lack of players. I don't video game or computer game much at all now, but I'm not sure it was ever a loved hobby. Maybe.
Derang3d: Well, kinda. I had a hobby that required a lot of practice, and once I stopped putting energy in the group just fell apart (as groups tend to do). I've not really practiced since. So it wasn't the hobby an sich, but the things around it.
pricero1: Gardening's always been a chore for me.
