Grimsalt: I used to mime at my co-workers from across the hospital hallway. Beats yelling like an entitled scrub, and playing mini-games lightens the mood for everyone. For anything complex, we'd often text with our phones instead.
pricero1: Email is fine for exchange of information, but that is not the same as a discussion.
Derang3d: Mail. If something needs to be hashed out fast, other options exist, but mail allows me to take more time. Loss of voice modulation and body language doesn't weigh up to that.
Woelf: Depends on what is being discussed, but email if it's non-urgent, face-to-face if it is. Via phone is the worst.
