¿Question #229730?
purplewurple: The Sundered Land Game 35 [16]. Sizing up the Knights Custodian, by all appearances a Janitor and a Maintenance Man, I decide in an instant to take my chances with them rather than fight the too-smart, too-heavily armed baker. I rush the Knights, trying to catch them by surprise. I realize my error as the one crouches down in a fighting stance, heavy wrenches appearing suddenly in each hand, and the other twirls a broom around with blinding speed, blood spatters flying everywhere. Still, I was a warrior once, and although I had to trade in my weapons for the bodyskin to keep the cold out, I'm not entirely without tricks of my own. With a piercing yell and a narrowly dodged bicycle kick to the face I slide underneath the spinning broom handle and get my hands on an awl and screwdriver from the other Knight Custodian's tool belt. Their light thermal clothing protects against the elements but is hardly stab proof, and I drive the tools repeatedly into the Knights' flesh, dancing around to stay out of reach of their own weapons. Do they submit?

purplewurple: The gods have spoken! Dice were rolled, and MABBY spoke loudest!
RavingLoon: Custodian comes from the Latin Custodia, and we know the Romans hated surrendering. Slaughter them quickly, then use their weapons to get the baker to build you a nuclear weapon.
pricero1: No, they don't submit. They will never surrender.
mattomaw: No, because when you went cor the awl, it was awl or nothing, and you got nothing. You discover you are slapping them with an empty bare fist.
0Shea0: "They violently explode, wiping from existance everything in a 2 block radius, including you."
magikaru: Yes, they submit a formal complaint to HR about the lack of hazard pay after they trap you in stasis.
MABBY: You've only provoked them. They bear down on you, ready to give you noogies on your head and Indian burns to your forearms.
Derang3d: They do not.
RealGuest: Nope
Woelf: They barely even react to the hits, and the places where wounds should have been vanish almost instantaneously. You thought they were flesh and bone, but they are in fact some sort of shape-shifting viscous fluid that had merely taken on unremarkable humanoid forms to blend in. Now freed from any need to remain inconspicuous to you, they unleash the full fury of their non-Newtonian assault. No amount of warrior training could prepare you for what comes next.
