mattomaw: Have you ever fed flies your blood? I was cutting gorse and brambles today and was covered in scratches. My fore arm was totally covered in blood. A few flies landed on it whilst I took a break, and they drank it all! They actually hoovered it all up clean! I actually enjoyed letting the flies drink my blood. They seemed to be really enjoying it. It was the first time I have never felt an affinity like that for flies before. When have you ever been appreciative of flies?
