¿Question #229911?
Woelf: What is the loudest machine or device you own that does not have making noise as an intended purpose?
Derang3d: Dustsucker (vacuum cleaner).
Blinko: The shop vac, but even louder is the two little dogs shrill barking when I get home every day.
mattomaw: Air compressor with compressed air stone chisels.
Woelf: Being within 10 feet of the Shop-Vac without ear protection while it's running is physically painful. Probably the lawn mower after that. Inside the house, definitely the mixer, especially when it goes off a little before 6:00 AM because one of the kids got up early and decided to make a smoothie.
rayzg: Air conditioner
purplewurple: Tycho
PolarDad: lawn mower
MABBY: The blender, no contest. My wife uses ear-plugs when she purees her daily "green drink", and you can't hear anything else while it's running full speed. It's even noisier than the lawnmower.
BOBBYCAN: In the house I think it's the vacuum, though it's a lot quieter than the last one.
pricero1: Probably a car.
