¿Question #229942?
Derang3d: What is the smallest denomination of cash you've held? As in, 1$ is about 1€, but 1AUS$ is about 0,70. So, of all the valuta you've used, of which is 1 of the base unit worth the smallest amount?

Woelf: Wasn't there a Euro or UK coin that was worth something like half the value of a US penny? I remember coming across a couple ridiculously tiny coins when we were in Europe years ago. /// I misread the question then. I don't know how the Euro would have compared to a Canadian dollar years ago when we were in Europe, but I think the Euro has pretty much caught up to the US$ at this point while the Canadian$ still lags a little behind, so I guess that's the winner.

I remember coming across a couple ridiculously tiny coins when we were in Europe years ago. /// I misread the question then, but with the dollar as the base unit, a penny would be 0.01 of that. Other than that 0.005€ coin I vaguely remember but might not actually exist, the next lowest would probably be a Canadian penny, which would be 0.01 of a Canadian dollar, which is valued slightly less than a US dollar.
Derang3d: But a penny isn't the base unit of American money? Addit: I think it's lira for me as well, they were like 1000 lira to a guilder back then. Addit2: No worries ^^. Was about 90% sure that was gonna happen anyway ^^. Can't always English properly.
BOBBYCAN: Probably a Canadian penny, but any denomination would be worth $0 since I couldn't spend it here.///add - Sorry, I misunderstood the question.

pricero1: I've had Italian lira notes, but I can't remember how many lira was their smallest note. I've also had the smallest Korean banknote, and the Korean Won is very small.
