puffinge: Do you stay and watch the credits at the end of a movie? Why or why not?

jimicapone: Only Marvel, for the surprise.
Felimid: Depends on the movie. Sometimes I do, but usually I don't.
the manatee: Usually. Usually it's because the song credits are at the end, as well as a list of locations where the movie was shot.
MartinWin: Yes. I paid 5 Eurocents per minute and I want to enjoy the music of the credits. And there are some movies with extra scenes after the credits. Or some jokes in the credits (f.e. in Harry Potter IV: "No dragons were harmed in the making of this movie").
Jatoha: yep, it ticks our children off to no end, but we are fucking staying until the fucking end, dDAMMITT!!
Bluto: The credits, no. I sometimes stay for the teaser after the credits though. As much as I believe in credits, in the end, it's a list of peoples names. It's like reading the phone book for fun.
Woelf: If it was a good movie and has potential for something after the credits, I usually stay the first time.
JoelCFC25: Sometimes, if I want to know about the soundtrack or the locations where they filmed. Of course, you can get all that on IMDB, so I guess I'm wasting my time, huh?

Not to mention the fact that they have some interesting, and sometimes humorous credits around lately. And who wouldn't want to know who the assistant accountent was. That information may be on a trivial pursuit card one day.

Leo-T: yes. Let the crowd clear, plus you never know anymore if they've tacked on any little epilogues or the like at the very end.
Shakar: Sometimes, if I need to know a name of an actor or if I like the ending soundtrack.

Randy Cox: Well, the last movie I went to was probably A Beautiful Mind and if you go back about five movies before that, you're at Grumpy Old Men. Does my answer really matter?
MisterCranky: No. End credits are a sham. If you want to give people credit for their participation in the movie, run the credits at the beginning. At least this might mitigate all those idiots who walk in with crying babies and ringing cellphones 18 minutes into the start, and then yammer incessantly with their dates about how much they missed, but it's okay because they already saw this movie, and Kaiser Sosay (yeah, like I care how that should be spelled) is really the gimpy guy just watch at the end he'll straighten out that foot and get all confident.

puffinge: I always stay, and usually the person I'm with refuses to. It gives a sense of completion that I can't really explain or justify. Sometimes you get a bonus and you find out who sang and wrote the songs and who was best boy.
LudesFactor: usually. a) i'm often interested in either music or location credits; b) The Muppet Movie taught me that sometimes things happen _after_ the credits (best recent example: Son of the Bride)
