¿Question #2825?
Randy Cox: Do more than a couple dozen people still actually ask and answer questions? Prove it.

GameGeekNinja: One does
Phil Fleischmann: I hope not.
taragalinas: No
CarlK: One here. 24ish more to go.
Woelf: BEHOLD! http://www.boardgamegeek.com/questions/recent
CharmlessMan77: I don;t think so. It's been months since I did any at all.
Spirit of 70: More than a couple do, I got three answers to my latest question, which moves it into at least a trio of people.
bcooperok: We have this guy here who gathers all the stats, you should ask him (warning -- he's kind of a nut).
Felimid: (grabs blackboard and lots of chalk and covers blackboard with thousands of equations) Yes. The answer is 42.
jessitron: hey, a couple dozen is plenty! Cranky counts for at least six.
vandemonium: Who cares. The people that do are l33t.
Polgara: no
TheKeck: I don't know.
matthan: You prove it first.
DHEK: I think more than a couple dozen people ask and answer... just that maybe they don't do it very often. Just look at recent answers / questions and you'll see quite a variety in names (if you look at the right time).
themagni: Sorry, BGG doesn't support MathML.
Seldrim: Well, I wouldn't know anything about the dozen.
aleo09: yes look @ the stats page
POvidiusNaso: I think it's down to four or five numbskulls.
Geosmores: not sure
The_T: Yes, I believe we do.
Doo Doo: I will.
Leo-T: I dunno
MisterCranky: Just use the "Recent Answers / Questions" link and page back 4 dozen times. This will not only keep you off our backs, but it will possibly help you make your case.
Greedo: I forget.
Poetprince: Using the angle of the sun multiplied by the hypotenuse of the internet's 7000 search engines we can prove that some people have WAY too much time on their hands.
heavymetalhamster: I don't think that they do
eddyspaghetti: Done.
brainrob: I think everyone else got bored months ago
vampywife: i dunno
jasta6: I'm number 13...................................................................
ronster0: sorry, can't
gr8lookinguy: what kind of a question is that? sounds more like a game
Ketch: I am worth at least a dozen.
Loquutus: Here's one more.
Platinum Dragon: There are five people (self included) currently in the 'recently answered,' and ten more people in the 'recently asked' and that's all within the last day or so.
Critical Mass: yes
Chemik: Just found this feature.
Tushratta: Yes, but I can only prove it using mathematical notations that are not available on my keyboard.
Randy Cox: Well, it has been done. It took 36 days to get to our 25th respondant to this question. I guess there are (a few) more answerers than I thought.
scriptorum: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/geekquestions.php3?action=stats Fewer than half of the question askers are in the top ten, so at the unlikely bare minimum there must be at least 37 askers (total asked - sum of top ten answered / 10th place asker number asked + 10 for each of the top ten askers). Furthermore, out of the answered questions not accounted for by the top ten, the unlikely bare minimum that could answer them all is 53 (same math).
Eric Haas: Why should I?
GrandpaDave: How?
mrbeankc: Never!
sourwyrm: there's like six people, i think
7ofAnn: I do answer, I don't ask (yet)
leece: Hey, what do I know? I just got here...on the other hand, if other people, like me, are just arriving and showing an interest in reading and asking and answering, well, then...
Lord_Prussian: It'd be hard to prove. You'd really have to look at a lot of profiles. And that's too much effort right now. Maybe later. Probably not.
The Unbeliever: 42
2amp: dunno, you could look in everyone's profile. i won't, but you can
djlg: Yes. At anytime there a couple of first time questioners & answerers that haven't learnt better yet.
seppo21: I've never seen the statistics on such a topic. I'm surprised you have not calculated it yourself :)
skrutsch: I think it's thinning, but I'd love to see the stats broken down by day.
meshuggener: 3,000 questions have been answered 127,000 times. You do the math.
puffinge: Check this out: Users Answered: 49 out of 65, and the question was about Jar-Jar.
Tim Synge: How many is a "couple dozen"?
jttm: Say, haven't seen you around before...
snoozefest: huh?
CortexBomb: Aren't you doing that right now?
skelebone: Dunno, don't care.
CDRodeffer: I doubt it.
Spielfreak: It's certainly seems close to that number. My last question, asked a couple of days ago, has generated 9 answers and 5 "Never Answer", for a total of 14 responses. I guess GeekQuestions are a curiosity to most, and a hopeless addiction to the rest of us.
chaddyboy_2000: Yes, I've answered more than a dozen peoples' questions in the last 15 minutes.
