BOBBYCAN: Northern California. I wish I knew.
dvdpo: A private section next to some catacomb under a church in Rome (walking through the wrong door), where after a very dark corridor I found a strangely illuminated room full of 1m sided cubes in different colors. It looked like a "Portal" secret room.

Woelf: Giant's Causeway, Northern Ireland -- Even knowing the details of how it was formed geologically, it still doesn't seem natural when you see it up close.
pwilz: There's the place in Long Beach Mississippi. I think it's a local teen legend. It's called the 'Albino Graveyard.' It wasn't really interesting or weird. Maybe the correct answer is the French Quarter in New Orleans.

Ebon Wendigo: My Wife and I went to Churchill Canada recently to take a tour to see polar bears in the wild. I'm not sure that it qualifies as "wierd" but it is the remotest place I've ever been to.

rdmasters: Either the above-ground caves near Kununurra (inside old devonian reefs, exposed on the desert surface - in the heart of the Great Race City area for the HPL fans) or the horizontal forests in the Tasmanian highlands (where you can walk out on apparent solid ground, and find that you're 30M up a tree!)
