Debate: Why does BGG bother approving pictures when there appears to be little attempt to reject out of focus, tiny, upside down pics of the same box cover from 18 different angles?

TheGrimReeple: They farmed out the process to users, with little instruction and no vetting. It's incredibly random, depending who feels like GeekModding today. And there's GG to be had by spamming pics.

Woelf: Some of those pictures got through before there was an approval process and the is no good way to get rid of them. More recent ones get through because some people are so desperate for GeekGold that they'll keep ramming the same crappy images through GeekMod over and over again until they finally slip through.
