MisterCranky: My take on it was that the presence of a turd (self-congratulatory or otherwise) pretty much indicated that somebody gave it, which is the gist of the hypothetical "who gives a shit." In this case, clearly the self-congratulater cares. I hate hypothetical questions anyway.
