meshuggener: Diplomacy: Are you generally the first to back-stab or the first to get back-stabbed?

ocdspectrum: I rarely backstab in these types of games.
Hector Vortac: Still haven't been accepted for Survivor; therefore, never played.
Jatoha: I have never played it.

the manatee: I usually hold out, so I usually get stabbed first. Once, I was England and France and I stayed allied the entire game, declaring a mutual victory after we swept the board. That was the one time my waiting to stab paid off handsomely.
weed131: i would be more likely to be backstabbed, though I've only played once and I won, without any backstabbing. I was Russia in a full game, I made peace with Germany and UK in the start and AH refused to talk to me or Italy, so we carved them up. UK gave me all of Norway and Sweden even after I offered him Norway for 2 turns (UK, Germany and France had a big stalemate and didn't trust each other from previous games). Turkey fell very quickly and Italy was unable to hold onto any Balkan territories after Turkey was gone. Everyone then conceded the game to me.

CDRodeffer: It depends upon where I'm playing. If I'm Russia or France, I get backstabbed early. Others, I often do the first backstab.
