¿Question #2969?
meshuggener: When you accidently miss someone's turn, do you 1) back off the turns of people who went after, 2) let the missed player go without changes or 3) say "Tough. Pay attention next time."

Hms_indefatigable: I choose number 3
Woelf: That depends on how much time has passed since the turn was missed, how much the game situation has changed, how much (if any) hidden information was revealed, and numerous other factors. Backing up and allowing the person to take their turn is the preferred option.
Felimid: 1 or 2.
jcaraway: wanna say 3, should do 1, probably lazy and actually do 2
Hendal: 3 please
senorcoo: Back up, start again.
KillerPower: Depends on the player... If it's my I prefer 1
pwilz: That depends on the game.
ZeroZilla: Option one, generally. Unless it's in the rules that your turn is skipped, we tend to 'remind' people of what they're supposed to be doing. In this instance, read 'remind' as 'shout at'.
vandemonium: depends. Usually 2 but often 3
puffinge: 1 if possible
Boot2daHead: Cut off one of his fingers as punishment for ruining the game.
cleonhard: Of those options, probably the first.
Butterbane: Since it's usually ME who misses a turn without realizing it, we usually let me go without changes.
Tim Synge: Depends on what game we're playing.
travellerne: Depends on how hard the options are.
matthan: Number One.
DHEK: Sometimes (1), especially if it's not too hard to roll back turns, and sometimes (2). Rarely (3), if ever.
mike86: 3)
Sandy Petersen: depends on how many turns have passed and the game.
seppo21: It really depends on the situation. However, if you are paying attention to the game, you shouldn't miss your turn.
unifex: 2
diehard4life: I prefer the latter.
Shade_Jon: depends. rarely 1. 2 if nothing has been revealed. 3 if information has been revealed, but not so rudely as you put it.
jlavigne: 3 if it's my brother, 2 for anyone else
vampywife: It really depends on the game, I suppose. If the other's turns aren't too involved that the missed turn will dramatically alter the outcome, we would probably just let the missed player go without changes.
Dweeb: 1 or 2, whichever is needed. If anyone said "3)" to me, that would be the last game I'd play with them. Games are supposed to be fun.
bwildrick: 1 and 2. 3 only if it's Lucio.
brainrob: Depends on the game
herman_the_german: You shoot the player you passed. Then it's fine.

ipodox: tough dookey
Terminus_Est: 2.
Great Dane: 1
POvidiusNaso: It depends on the game and how far we've gone, but I'll almost always do 2 at the worst.
ZombyDawg: Wow, there aren't that many options in ASL. If you miss something, too bad. But when playing with Euros we usually work things out so the poor sap doesn't whine too much.
CherryPie: It really depends on the game.
Excalabur: We tend to stare at whoever's turn it is until they move..
Dr. No: 3
xlorp: We turn back the clock only to the extent absolutely required for game balance. Otherwise it's snooze and lose.
Scott Tepper: Back off turns
