¿Question #3253?
darthcliff: Should Anakin have fought Darth Maul at the end of Episode II and the beginning of Episode III?

Shleeg: whooaaa slow down there son! that spaghetti sandwich needs a total writing overhaul before we can even get near there. lets start with the main antagonist in most of episode 1 being, "we're low on cash." yeesh.
sweetgotham: Why would there have been any difference? The only good thing about the newer movies was Portman's wardrobe in I and II
weed131: no
Woelf: It would have been even better at the end of Episode I.
Narlgoth: Why not? :- 1
Spirit of 70: I don't think anything could save those disasters.
Numskull: Anakin should have been utterly destroyed at the beginning of Episode I so that the rest of the movies wouldn't exist.
StitzL: Episode I, II and III should never have happened -- so you can take that as a "No."
Actorios: I must admit I was disappointed by Episodes I to III (especially II and III in fact)
scriptorum: Don't make George Lucas come to your house and lightskewer ya!
DHEK: Yeah, why not? Kill the baddies! OK well, Anakin also turns into a bad guy, but he hasn't yet during that time and Darth Maul's already a confirmed bad guy, so...
diemacher: Get a life
aleo09: maybe
kavey: Absolutely.
SybotCB: No Darth Maul was dead after Episode I.
Cut & Space: No
heavymetalhamster: No, If you watch episode 1 carefully, you will notice that Darth Maul is dead at the end of the movie so could not possibly fight Anakin
rAdioActivitA: Honestly, I can't remember those movies enough to comment. Don't care.
MaksimSmelchak: Anakin should have had a better actor cast for the role and better dialogue written for the character. And while I'm making wishes, Jar Jar should have been left out altogether!
joebelanger: No. Darth Maul was appropriately lightsaber-fodder. What Darth Maul needed was more dialogue or screen time. If you were to replace every mention of mitochondria and every scene with Jar Jar with a killer Darth Maul scene, Ep. 1 would have been watchable.
wargamer66: Gawd i hated all those movies.
xlorp: Almost any suggestion would have improved what Lucas disgorged like a sea-sick Bantha.
PsyJam: No, but I DO think that Darth Maul was an interesting character that had his time cut too short.
brainrob: Who cares?
Helenoftroy: Darth Maul was never really a character. He was just a unique prop.
Nem Menuu: Negative.
Loquutus: He died in EP I
keldrak: no
jellospike: Yeah, why not? I don't care anymore.
skrutsch: Did he? If so, yes.
ctalbot: No.
Favre4MVP: no. he was dead, that would have been kinda lame.
Cyberjunk: How would that have helped?
atlantean_tauri: I think you mean Count Dooku. :\
Yollege: No, he would have been harder to beat as a ghost.
Islay: Yes
ConraDargo: no
Mikebegeta: yeah
Android: I'm trying my best to forget that whole experience, and YOU aren't helping.
Mrcalcman: no
Belash: wasn't Darth Maul dead?
dakarp: I couldn't have made the movies worse, that's for sure.
Lord_Prussian: No
The Unbeliever: 42
darthcliff: Oh heck yeah.
snoozefest: isn't maul dead?
djlg: Yeah, whatever. (Star Yawns)
2amp: never saw either
jttm: Umm... no, why?
heli: hint: it's a movie
CortexBomb: It would have been more entertaining, though I doubt the ability of the guy who played Maul to actually act beyond bad-ass sabre-play
skelebone: Yeah, that would be great, and while he was at it, he should have time traveled back to the old west and fought his future self as Darth Vader there too.
chaddyboy_2000: Bleep.
puffinge: Thank god somebody has taken over the question asking from me and Cranky.
CDRodeffer: No.
