ellephai: Not sure this has ever happened, but it probably would, yes. On the other hand, maybe the closest parallel for me is when we used to play 3-handed Spades and put the extra card under the bed... sometimes we'd forget to retrieve it and it would be the same card for multiple hands. But that just became part of the fun.
