¿Question #3463?
dr glaze et al: How long should a BGG account be inactive before becomes dormant or inactive ?

pricero1: Hey, you're not getting rid of Questioneers that easily!
Raujour: Does it matter? Memory is cheap.
ImaginaryRoot: 1 Year
sirjeyhmis: 6 months.
Felimid: Thousands of years ... as long as there aren't any jiggles on nearby seismographs.
Woelf: It should become inactive the precise instant it becomes inactive.
Jose-san: At least a year.
lorddillon: 6 mo.
engdy: A BGG account should become inactive the moment it becomes inactive. Man, it feels good to be decisive like that!
pwilz: Not a democracy here.
Evil Wayne: 60 seconds.
ChipChuck: 1 year
FNH1: 7 years
jannelle: One month!
Vaughn: 3 months
bambino64: 6 months
bigbadsteve: 15 minutes
DHEK: No time. What happens to an inactive account anyway? Why the need to turn an account "inactive" if doing so doesn't really serve any useful purpose?
jcarvin: 6 months = inactive. 1 year = bye-bye
slowcorner: Well, if it's inactive, then it's probably already inactive.
pyr-shep: 1 year
Grym: Depends on how active the account was. Just a user name? 1 year. 50 games entered as owned and rated? 10 years.
MightyMike: never
POvidiusNaso: 6 months.
tdyck: 18 months
dmomo: Doesn't it follow that if 'inactive' is the case, then 'dormant or inactive' is also the case?
starscream: 2 years
TaliaIsabelle: 6 months
brainrob: 2 years
chriscarl25: Two years
mrspank: 500 days.
liberor13: Two Months
shawn_low: If I had my way, 24 hours. In reality, 3 months.
tipigi: 1 year
Loquutus: 6 months
dietevil: don't care - they're not hurting anyone, are they?
MisterCranky: Forever.
mrraow: About a day - they obviously aren't dedicated enough.
Belash: 1 year
Nem Menuu: 3 weeks
Jim_P: 5 years
frunk: 2 years
xlorp: One year.
mrbeankc: 1 year
obob: when are you planning your next vacation trip?
Randy Cox: That doesn't even make sense.
ValJor: Six months
2amp: never
jellospike: 1 year
Lord_Prussian: At least a year maybe two.
dakarp: Complex question. Do you want the contributions from dormant accounts to vanish (reviews, etc)? I think that inactive accounts should be suspended somehow until (if) the user returns, but how to do that is complex. I'd say 6 months to a year is a good timeframe.
scriptorum: However long it takes you to think up a new question.
djlg: Ummm, "how long should it be inactive before it becomes inactive?" instanteously?
skelebone: 1 year?
Ardos: 1 year
jttm: Who's username do you want?
Dave: 18 years, 5 months, 3 days, 14 hours, and 26 minutes.
CDRodeffer: That's a tough one. Maybe two or three years?
CortexBomb: That depends on what dormant would entail. I think ratings should stand regardless of age for instance
heli: never I'd say
chaddyboy_2000: A month?
