xofour: I kind of enjoyed the first one in the melvinge of the univers trilogy. NIght of the living rat? I know it wasn't shark. Can't remember, but the 1st night of the living _______ book was good enough to get me to read all three even though I should have given up halfway through the 2nd.

sos1: I like most of his books. I think The Snarkout Boys and the Baconburg Horror is his masterpiece. (I can't believe I mistakenly put Avocado of Death earlier! It's a great book, but no match for Baconburg Horror. And because I screwed up, I'll put in some honorable mentions: Lizard Music, Borgel, Alan Mendelsohn the Boy from Mars - heck, even Young Adult Novel and The Worms of Kukumlima are better than most books.)
