puzzlemonkey: Being chased through the woods by psychopaths on motorcyles when I was seven. In hindsight, I realize they were teenagers on dirt bikes.
Hendal: I spilled my beer, and we where really low on beer, I was going to cry I tell you, till I remembered I had a set, so I got down and liked it off the floor
syphon: A car accident when I was in high school. I rolled a car, and ended up upside-down. Getting out of a seat belt when upside-down is difficult at best.
weed131: Almost drove straight into a semi truck, I was going at least 75, he was probably doing 65, I was passing a car and it accelerated to try and keep me from passing and the semi came around a curve
loskevino: My brakes went out on my '90 New Yorker in Portland, OR coming out of the hills, headed toward a red light. 1 car in both lanes, Oncoming traffic had a green and no right turn. I just got the car and couldn't locate the E-brake. I was going 30 MPH and had to make a choice between a huge truck, a mini van, oncoming traffic, a telephone pole, or trying to squeeze between the truck and the van. I squeezed and barely scraped the truck before finding the E-brake and stopping IN the next intersection. I peed a little.

jkenney23: My left front tire blew out while I was doing 80 on the freeway. I crashed into the median and spun around. I was sure I was going to die.

princess_nkk: I was 6 and I was rollerblading. Suddenly I heard a scream and a cakleing laugh, I smelled blood. I skated away as fast as possible but fell many times. Unexpectedly I heard footsteps behind me. I got up terrified and somehow got home with shaking knees. I never went rollerblading in that area ever again and I never knew what happened that day.
SirEvelyn: Flipped my car and walked away without a scratch.
cgund: Emergency landing into Minneapolis on Northwest Airlines. I was a crying screaming hysterical mess. (everything was fine, though).
ZeroZilla: One time, I thought there was an actual demon in the next room. Complete with burning orange eyes... After a fearful, and prayerful, half-hour or so (I have no idea how long, actually) I turned on the light to confront it. It turned out to be the combination of a night-prowling pet cat (to supply the noise) and a dehumidifier (whose illuminated switch, doubled in reflection, supplied the eyes). Still, it was really frightening to me at the time.
ozjesting: My son covered in blood...turns out it was only a tounge bite..but MAN do those things bleed!

Harkonnen13: I was in a wreck where we took a hairpin turn at about 45 MPH, we flew off the corner. It was a good thing a tree was right there to catch us or we would have caught about 300 feet of air.

DHEK: Almost getting into an accident because I was doing a turn a little too fast on the highway (I was in a hurry as I was late for an appointment) and the car skidded a bit and I felt almost as if I lost control of the vehicle. I was so scared that I stopped the car and took a breather immediately after that. My heart was pounding like crazy then too. Luckily there was no one else around then.

Spielfreak: Dealing with my first kidney stone. I just didn't know what the hell was going on. This also counts as my most painful experience, in case you're keeping score at home.
