ZombyDawg: Do you mean Newton's theory? I'm more of a General Theory of Relativity guy. Einstein's theory is more precise. Newton's theory described the effects of gravity mathematically while Einstein gives us something more interesting to ponder. Now if we can unify General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics we'll start to get an idea as to what reality is all about.

confuse_a_cat: I believe in gravity in the same way that I believe that the sun will rise tomorrow. I'll be surprised if I'm wrong about them, but I won't argue for the absolute certainty of either case. Claims based upon empirical evidence only are exceedingly difficult to "prove" to me.

heli: If so, why? Despite having a totally overwhelming number of scientists in support of it, just like evolution, it's "only" a theory.
