Sideburn: depending on the theater. most theaters have lousy seating and since I'm rather tall I can never seem to find room for my legs. at home I don't have that problem, so judging on comfort I'd have to say at home, but judging on the movie experience I'd have to go with theater... (good enough?)

CortexBomb: Well, in theory at the theatre, but I see very few movies there because most of the stuff I'm interested in is foreign, many of which either get very short theatrical runs, or just don't show up at my neighbourhood multiplex
heli: Some very visual films need the large screen to be fully appreciated; otherwise, it's easier to stop and get ice cream at home. :)

Ludocrazy: Theater is more of a "movie" experience, but home is more comfy.
skelebone: A nice theater makes for a pleasant experience, but there is something to be said for the convenience and versatility to home viewing. If I had a nicer audio/video setup, it would be the home, hands down.
